Poetry: Return

And in that pleasant room

- tall windows open

on the jasmine breeze -

did view

the record of my life,

and with the counsellors debate

the way

I might have done things otherwise

or could

do in a future life.

In the long shadows, we embraced;

outside

I climbed the grassy hill

among the trees;

stood at the brow amid the dipping light.

Then did I look on Earth

and saw my ma

conceiving in a scream of joy -

and then was gone.

Beautiful!
Thank you for your visit to my site and for the mini-reading. It is much appreciated and has triggered some insight.

Blessings,

I thought this to be eerily beautiful…and I mean that in a positive way.
I am still pondering over some of your words, and the mystery of it all. As in a painting the reader/viewer can only imagine your meaning or make it their own…which is what I prefer they do with my work.
